Miguel Paredes is not a typical painter. He has the creativity
and talent to be considered a great artist, but the business skills to
be proactive in getting his works recognized by collectors and galleries.
This combination of creativity and business acumen is rare, so its keeps
him constantly on his toes, and always in the studio. Some say he is his
best manager, always forcing himself to stay focused.
Miguel's current work, BOROUGHS, incorporates elements from graffiti,
graphic design printing and fine art painting, a synergy Paredes is finally
comfortable with. In the future, Paredes plans to explore this combination
more in depth. Paredes resides in Miami with his wife, Joyce and their
